Flocking Fish is an interactive installation utilizing cameras to detect motion and a multi-touch screen for interaction. Users are able to interact and play with schools of fishes that follow them as they move around the screen.

Home Sweet Home is a typographic poster that depicts the suburb Paddington. It is so titled because of its homely atmosphere. Each word of the poster relates to an aspect of Paddington; in particular, the buildings, the cafes and the quirky shops.

Nicholas Wellauer

The first moment that Nicholas found interest in animation and interactive storytelling was playing Half-life and has been considered a fanatical gamer ever since. Nicholas has just graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Animation. He has been focusing on 3D animation and aspires to become a Character Animator and modeler.

Nicholas has now found great interest is creating real time animation and hopes to continue his love of games by now creating them himself.

Landon Toweel

Landon has an interest in most areas of 3d CGI, but is specialising in creature and character animation.

He enjoys experimenting with different styles – from realistic to stylised and from broad action to dialogue and performance scenes. His long-term goal is to work as a lead character/creature animator in the film industry.

Landon draws inspiration from various sources – such as the natural world and science, music and literature, human nature and history.

He is motivated by the satisfaction of bringing characters to life to tell a story, but mostly by the desire to be employed doing something he loves.

Ashleigh Taylor

Ashleigh is an emerging artist interested in design and animation eager to enter the entertainment industry. Ashleigh has a wide repertoire of skills including web design, animation, matte painting, 3D modelling and motion design but is most interested in conceptual design.

Ashleigh draws inspiration from science fiction films and games, fantasy novels and retro futurism. Ashleigh has worked on various projects including short animations, web design, visual effects, film and graphic design.

Her future aspirations are to be part of a production team working on designs and content for games and films.
